Prof. Christopher K. Ober visiting CPI

From now until the end of May Prof. Christopher K. Ober is our guest at CPI. We work on a project co-sponsored by the NSF and the DFG which deals with nanostructured polymer brushes.

Our current efforts focus on the development of fabrication strategies. Eventually, we will use such systems to study the influence of confinement on the stability of uncharged and charged brushes. Especially the latter ones are often meta-stable and prone to degrafting even under mild conditions.

He will present some of his research on May, 26th at 3 pm in Seminar Room A of the FMF.

If you are interested in talking to Prof. Ober please contact Dr. Oswald Prucker at ext. 7164 or prucker@imtek.de.
