Dr. Michael Henze

Michael Henze studied chemistry at the University of Leipzig and recieved his Diploma in 2006 on the topic „Lewis-Säure katalysierte Ringöffnung von meso-Aziridinen“.

In the same year he joined the research group of Prof. Dr. Ludger Wessjohann at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry in Halle (Saale) for his Ph.D. studies.

After finishing the research of his Ph.D. thesis on „Synthese von Peptoidischen Dendrimeren“ he joined the research group of Prof. Dr. Jürgen Rühe at the IMTEK in Freiburg for postdoctoral studies in july 2011.

He became project leader in this group shortly after, in 2012.
